This district does not have so many curiosities as the other districts in Barcelona, but there are still a couple hotspots. Horta Guinardo has two beautiful parks and a hospital complex. Hospital de la Santa Creu i Sant Pau is one of the most beautiful hospital complexes ever. You enter this complex through a wonderful gate, than you are right in front of the main building. When you walk through this main building, you enter an area with several little clinics. Because of the elegant buildings, this area does not look like a hospital but more like a fantasy park. Parc del Guinardo is a small park and is surrounded by a forest. The park lies at the foot of a mountain. The park itself it not very special but the view over the sea and the city is magnificent. Another nice little park is Les Aigues. This park
contains some ponds and nature.
